(Page 2) B.gr8ful is a poet and lyricist from Fayetteville, NC, with loving ties to Philly and NYC. Their work is dedicated to exploring common ground topics like love and loss, as well as encouraging the audience to consider the implications of the philosophies of nondualism, mutualism, and environmentalism.

John Vogel

(Page 3/4) I’m a musician, video artist, and writer living in Philadelphia. After graduating from Penn State with a BA in journalism, I moved out to Philadelphia to play music with friends from high school in the band Rad Racket. We eventually all ended up playing in Grandchildren for another ten years. From about 2006 to 2010, we also ran the Danger Danger House and the Danger Danger Gallery in West Philly, where we threw many popular shows with a long list of bands from that era.

After Grandchildren stopped playing in 2019, I started to focus solely on my solo music. My current projects include the multimedia piece Weird Music and the online magazine and podcast Talking Writing, while also collecting interviews for a future work, Perfect Recognition.

I would like to work with bands, artists, and event programmers of any medium or genre who resonate with my work. I've written a lot of music underneath spoken audio for writers and poets, and I'm game to collaborate with other musicians or vocalists. Lately I've also really been trying to play out in live settings as much as I possibly can; house shows, bars, venues, galleries, whatever. So if you do any of those things and want to hook up, hit me up.

King Cole

(Pages 11/12) My name is Anthony Cole, born and raised in Philadelphia. I've spent most of my life with a pencil in my hand, creating whatever came to mind. I started drawing when I was 2 years-old and developed a passion for art From drawing family members to cartoon characters, my artistic ability and imagination was peaked. For most of my childhood, I was enrolled in different weekend art programs located at Abington Art School and Moore College of Art, developing my skills and expanding my knowledge and horizon in art styles. Using what I learned from these programs, I continued to hone my artistic abilities which allowed me to push my boundaries in my teenage years.

I've always had a fond relationship with Hip-Hop, which I developed from my father, and I use this as the main factor in how I create my art. My style is similar to street art and graffiti, and just like how Hip-Hop expresses the backgrounds and struggles of many different artists, I use my art to do the same. Whether I'm telling my own story or putting myself in the perspective of others, I use my gift to allow others to relate either to me or to each other to build a connection with art.

I went to college at West Chester University and earned my degree in Web Design, and even though I enjoy having a career in the tech field, art continues to call my name as a young adult. I believe my mission is to use my art to inspire people in different communities, help them use art to tell stories about what goes on in their lives, and bridge the gap between different groups of people to help them understand the purpose of art and what it can do.

Anthony would like to connect with a mentor and/or teacher who understands different styles of art to give him the necessary guidance and knowledge to further his career as an artist. He would also like to connect with people willing to learn about art and use it to create a positive outlet in their communities.
