ydaly mer

(Page 1-4) My name is Ydaly Mer, I am a painter and visual illustrator located in North Philadelphia. I was raised in the Dominican Republic through out most of my childhood and came to the United States in 2012 with immigrant parents in hope of a better life. Since I was a child, I used to spend a lot of time sketching and drawing up ideas. I never knew that I could pursue a career in art. I thought the possibility was unobtainable, but I knew art was a way for me to cope and express, so I wanted to keep doing it no matter what.

Miguel rosa

(Page 7/8) I’m Miguel Rosa (he/they) . I mostly go by “Mig00l” online. I'm a 17 year old queer multidisciplinary artist and founder of the north philly art collective “FOMO”. I think “weird” is the easiest way to describe a person such as myself (maybe “interesting” if you're being nice) . I go wherever my creativity takes me but I have taken a liking to mixed media collage and poetry as of recently. I love to juxtapose very morbid things with bright and happy things, it shows the contradictions and complexities of life.
